WINE MAKING PROCESS
Château de Fieuzal Blanc is produced using a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon grapes, with vineyard parcels typically aged 30-50 years on gravelly soils. The 2021 harvest occurred in early to mid-September. Vinification involves fermentation in both stainless steel tanks and new French oak barrels (50/50 split). Malolactic fermentation is intentionally avoided. The wine then undergoes 12 months of aging in French oak barrels, with a portion being new oak. Sustainable agricultural practices are followed, with a current conversion to organic farming.
