WINE MAKING PROCESS
The E. Guigal Château de Nalys Grand Vin Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2019 is produced from grapes fermented for approximately four weeks, with extended macerations for the Grenache component. Fermentation and maturation take place in tronconic vats and concrete tanks. The wine then undergoes 18 months of aging, with 30% of this time in wood, including barrels and foudres, and about 15% in new barriques. The 2019 harvest was influenced by a hot, dry summer, with pre-harvest rainfall aiding grape balance.
