WINE MAKING PROCESS
Château de Rhodes employs traditional winemaking methods, with a strong emphasis on organic viticulture and natural processes. Grapes are fermented using indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, a technique chosen to enhance the expression of the Gaillac terroir. Following fermentation, the red wines are aged in concrete tanks, preserving their inherent fruit characteristics. The estate has been certified organic by ECOCERT SAS since the 2011 vintage for its red wines, utilizing natural composts and avoiding synthetic treatments.
