WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Château La Nerthe Châteauneuf du Pape Rouge 2020 begins with hand-harvested and sorted grapes. Fermentation takes place in vats for about four weeks, with daily tasting to manage extraction. Malolactic fermentation is completed in oak vats. The wine then undergoes 12 months of aging in a mix of large oak casks, truncated vats, and barrels, using both new and old oak. Bottling occurs six months after the final blend.
