WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process at Château Lagrange involves plot-by-plot and intra-plot vinification using 102 thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Fermentation lasts 18-25 days at 26-28°C with moderate extraction techniques. Malolactic fermentation is initiated via co-inoculation. The wine is then aged for 21 months in barrels, with 50% new oak. Grapes are hand-harvested and meticulously selected, first by hand on whole bunches and then by optical camera.
