WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Château Montus 2020 involves a maceration period typically lasting 3 to 6 weeks, during which the cap is punched down. Fermentation takes place at approximately 28°C, followed by malolactic fermentation in wooden vats. The wine then undergoes aging for 12 to 16 months on its lees in oak barrels, with 60-80% of these being new. Manual harvesting and very low yields are integral to the production.
