WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Château Montus Blanc begins with hand-harvesting. The grapes undergo a slow pressing for five hours at low temperatures. Fermentation occurs in 600-liter demi-muids, large oak barrels. Following fermentation, the wine matures on its fine lees for 14 to 15 months, also within the demi-muids. The viticulture is noted as chemical-free with low yields.
