WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Château Montus Prestige involves extended maceration, lasting between 3 to 6 weeks, followed by fermentation at 28°C in wooden vats. Malolactic fermentation is carried out in new barrels on the lees. The wine then undergoes aging in 100% new oak barrels for 14 to 16 months. Alain Brumont employs sustainable vineyard practices, including tailored plant cover and 'no work of the land' policies, aiming to respect the environment and enhance the terroir. Harvests are conducted at maximum ripeness to capture the full potential of the grapes.
