WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Château Rahoul Blanc involves manual harvesting of grapes in crates, with timing dictated by grape varietal and soil. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in barrels, with 15% new oak used. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an aging period of 8 to 9 months in oak barrels, resting on fine lees. Regular stirring of these lees (bâtonnage) is employed to enhance texture and complexity. A portion of the aging is done in 20% new French oak.
