WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Mulderbosch Chenin Blanc is produced using 100% Chenin Blanc grapes. Key winemaking techniques include low-temperature fermentation to preserve aromatics. A significant portion, around 20-40%, is fermented and aged in large oak barrels (foudres) for a couple of months, imparting subtle oak spice. The wine then undergoes a period of aging on its yeast cells for several months, contributing to its texture and complexity. The producer's approach is guided by a philosophy of environmental respect.
