ABOUT THIS WINE
Cibonne Tentations is a rosé from the AOC Côtes de Provence, produced by Clos Cibonne. The wine is crafted from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Tibouren grapes. Clos Cibonne is an historic estate with roots dating back to 1797, recognized as one of the Cru Classés in the region. The estate is particularly noted for its long-standing commitment to the Tibouren grape. The vineyards are situated in prime locations within La Crau and Carqueiranne, with soils composed of schist and clay, and are located a short distance from the coast. The Tentations rosé is made in-house by Olivier Deforges, focusing on the expression of fresh fruit.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Cibonne Tentations rosé is produced using grapes from young Tibouren vines at Clos Cibonne, alongside Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah sourced from local farmers. The fruit is harvested manually. Vinification occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with fermentation often initiated by native yeasts. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a two-month aging period on its lees in stainless steel tanks. This approach is distinct from the more extensive barrel aging found in other Clos Cibonne cuvées, focusing instead on preserving the wine's fresh fruit characteristics.
