WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Rouge is produced using biodynamic farming methods on the Cigalus estate. Vine age averages around 15 years, with controlled yields of approximately 25 hl/ha. The winemaking process involves meticulous grape sorting and precise fermentation. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in new 225-liter French oak barrels. It then undergoes at least one year of bottle aging before its release.
