WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Cirelli Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2023 is produced using 100% Montepulciano grapes that are hand-picked. The winemaking process involves spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, followed by a maceration period of approximately one week. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks or cement vats. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on its fine lees for four months in stainless steel vats. The producer, CIRELLI LA COLLINA BIOLOGICA SRL, adheres to organic and biodynamic farming practices and employs a philosophy of minimal intervention in the cellar.
