WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Pierre Gaillard Clos de Cuminaille 2022 is produced using 100% Syrah grapes. The harvest is conducted manually, and the grapes are entirely destemmed before undergoing gentle extraction. Vinification follows traditional methods, with fermentation occurring in barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation. Aging takes place over 18 months in fine barrels, with 30-40% of the barrels being new oak. Controlled oxygenation is employed during the aging process to preserve the wine's fruit characteristics.
