ABOUT THIS WINE
The Sensi family's winemaking tradition dates back to 1890, when Pietro Sensi began selling estate Sangiovese to local Tuscan villages. Currently managed by the fourth generation, Massimo and Roberta Sensi, the winery operates a modern facility in Lamporecchio. The Collezione line represents an approachable, international style of winemaking, showcasing classic grape varieties grown in Italy's premier wine regions. This particular expression comes from Sicily, where the warm Mediterranean climate and unique soils allow Cabernet Sauvignon to develop a lush, fruit-forward character with soft, approachable structure.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This Sicilian Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes traditional red winemaking. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and fermented under temperature control in stainless steel silos to preserve primary fruit aromas and freshness. Following fermentation, the wine is aged predominantly in inert steel vats and bottles to maintain its vibrant character. Select batches may undergo brief micro-oxygenation or light oak-stave integration to round out the palate and soften the tannins before final blending and bottling.
