ABOUT THIS WINE
The Conti Ducco Rosé 2016 is a vintage sparkling wine from the Franciacorta DOCG region of Italy, produced by Conti Ducco. The winery, founded in 1967 by Count Piero, was instrumental in the establishment of Franciacorta as a prestigious appellation. The estate is now led by his son, Count Giorgio, who continues the philosophy of crafting wines entirely at their origin, with meticulous oversight from vineyard to cellar. This rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, a distinctive choice for the region. The wine is aged for 84 months in the bottle, a period that exceeds the minimum requirements and contributes to its complexity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Conti Ducco Rosé 2016 is produced using the Metodo Classico, the traditional method for sparkling wine. The grapes are sourced from the winery's best crus, and only the free-run juice from the first pressing is used. Each vineyard plot is fermented separately to create a diverse range of base wines. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes an extended aging period of 84 months in the bottle on its lees. The winery emphasizes meticulous oversight throughout the entire production process, from vineyard management to the final bottling.
