WINE MAKING PROCESS
Cosimo Maria Masini Chianti DOCG 2021 is produced using grapes primarily from Sangiovese and other local red varieties. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in concrete tanks for about 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in cement and steel. The wine then ages for approximately 6 months in concrete and stainless steel tanks. The producer emphasizes minimal intervention, with only a small amount of sulfur dioxide added at bottling. Grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards cultivated using certified biodynamic and regenerative farming practices on granite soils.
