ABOUT THIS WINE
The Crissante Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 is a 100% Dolcetto red wine from the Alba DOC in Piedmont, Italy. The grapes are sourced from a vineyard in La Morra, planted in 1968 on marl-calcareous soil. The Crissante Alessandria estate has a long family history in winemaking, with the current winery established in 1958. The estate focuses on traditional winemaking practices, producing wines from native grapes suited to the region's hills. This particular Dolcetto is vinified without wood aging.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Crissante Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 is produced from 100% Dolcetto grapes. Following a manual harvest in early September, the grapes undergo alcoholic fermentation for seven days in steel tanks with frequent pumping over. Malolactic fermentation occurs immediately afterward in steel at 20°C. The wine is then aged without any time spent in wood, preserving its fresh, fruit-driven profile.
