ABOUT THIS WINE
Crafted by René-Jean Dard and François Ribo, pioneers of the French natural wine movement since the early 1980s, 'C'est le Printemps' (meaning 'It's Spring') is a legendary cuvée from the Northern Rhône. Sourced from organic parcels in the plain of Mercurol, this wine is designed to celebrate the fresh, energetic awakening of the new season. Unlike the heavy, structured Syrahs typical of Crozes-Hermitage, this bottling captures the joyful, vibrant, and immediate side of the grape, offering a highly drinkable and pure expression of the terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards planted in 1970 and 1996. In the cellar, the fruit is 90% destemmed and undergoes spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open concrete or large wooden vats. Maceration is kept short and gentle (15 to 20 days) to minimize tannin extraction and preserve primary fruit. The wine is aged for 4 to 5 months in old, neutral 500L and 600L oak casks (demi-muids) and wooden vats. It is bottled without fining, filtration, or any added sulfur dioxide (sans soufre).
