ABOUT THIS WINE
Cu is a natural skin-contact orange wine produced by Bikicki Winery in Banoštor, Serbia, on the northern slopes of Mount Fruška Gora. Founded in 2013 by Djordje Bikicki, the estate practices organic viticulture along the Danube River. Named after the chemical element copper (Cu), this cuv)e pays tribute to the classic Ramato style, where extended skin maceration of red-skinned Pinot Grigio imparts a deep amber hue.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Grapes are hand-harvested in three passes from the single vineyard 'Milino brdo'. Vinification involves an average of five days of skin contact followed by spontaneous fermentation using 100% indigenous yeasts. The wine ages for two years in used oak barrique barrels and is bottled unfined and unfiltered without added sulfur.
