Langham Wine Estate, established in 2009 by Justin Langham, focuses on single-estate, traditional method sparkling wines and was recognized as Sparkling Wine Producer of the Year at the IWSC in 2020. The vineyards are situated on a south-facing slope with clay, flint, and limestone soils.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Langham Culver Classic Cuvée Extra Brut is produced using the traditional method. Grapes are pressed and settled before primary fermentation, which takes place in a combination of stainless steel tanks and used oak barrels, utilizing indigenous yeasts. The wine undergoes full malolactic fermentation and is aged for about seven months. Reserve wines are incorporated into the blend. Secondary fermentation occurs in the bottle, followed by a minimum of 20 months aging on lees. The estate employs low-intervention viticulture and meticulous vineyard management.
