ABOUT THIS WINE
The Cuvée des Vignettes Rosé is produced by Clos Cibonne, a historic estate in Provence's Côtes de Provence AOC, recognized as Cru Classé. The wine is primarily made from the Tibouren grape, a varietal the estate has championed. Its unique character is shaped by its vineyard location near the coast and its distinctive aging process. The Roux family has owned and managed the estate since 1797, with current generations upholding traditional winemaking practices, including the use of ancient foudres for aging.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Cuvée des Vignettes begins with a manual harvest of destemmed grapes, followed by direct pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks utilizing native yeasts. A defining characteristic is the wine's extended aging period of 12 to 18 months in 100-year-old foudres. This aging occurs under a 'fleurette,' a veil of yeast, which contributes to the wine's complexity and longevity. The estate employs certified organic farming practices.
