WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes for Delampa 50 Anos 2020 are sourced from Monastrell vines over 50 years old, located at an altitude of 700 meters. The vines are dry-farmed and hand-harvested, contributing to low yields and concentrated fruit. Vinification involves a 15-day fermentation and maceration period in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25°C. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes at least 12 months of aging in American oak barrels, and potentially French oak barrels, to develop its structure and complexity.
