ABOUT THIS WINE

This wine is made exclusively from Monastrell grapes, cultivated in the unique high-altitude (800 meters) environment of Jumilla, characterized by stony, limestone-poor soils. The 'Selección' designation indicates a curated selection of grapes, highlighting the winery's commitment to showcasing the best of their Monastrell harvest.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Delampa Selección Monastrell is produced from 100% Monastrell grapes. The harvest is conducted by hand. Following harvest, the grapes are fermented and macerated for 15 days in stainless steel vats under controlled temperatures. The 'Selección' designation suggests a period of aging, with some indications pointing to one year in French oak barrels. The vines are dry-farmed, and the winery often produces vegan-friendly wines.
