WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Delta Estate Hatter's Hill Chardonnay 2021 was fermented in French oak barriques, specifically second and third-year fill for this vintage. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation and was subsequently aged on lees for eight months in barrel. Regular stirring of the lees was employed to enhance creamy characteristics and build texture. The grapes for this vintage were harvested from the Dillons Point area of the Wairau Valley, Marlborough.
