ABOUT THIS WINE
Founded in 1923 by Cavalier Antonio Viberti at the Trattoria al Buon Padre in Barolo, the Viberti family has produced wine for three generations. While historically world-renowned for classic Barolo, Viberti expanded into Colli Tortonesi in 2021 to craft high-altitude Timorasso from the upper slopes of Monleale. Timorasso is an ancient native Piedmontese white grape, often dubbed the White Barolo due to its impressive structure, vibrant high acidity, and notable bottle-aging potential.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Hand-harvested in small 20kg crates from high-elevation vineyards in Monleale, grapes are transported in refrigerated trucks to the Barolo winery to preserve cool temperature and prevent oxidation. Following gentle pneumatic pressing and cold decanting, fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is strictly prevented. The wine ages for 10 to 12 months on fine noble lees in stainless steel tanks with weekly batonnage, completely un-oaked.
