The DFR Feteasca Alba 2020 is a white wine from CH. Pietrosaratii S.R.L., now known as Domeniile Franco Romane SRL (DFR). Founded in 1999 in Sahateni, Dealu Mare, Romania, DFR is recognized as a pioneer in Romanian winemaking, with a strong focus on ecological and organic practices, being the first company in Romania to be Ecocert certified. The wine is made from the Feteasca Alba grape, an indigenous Romanian variety cultivated in the Dealu Mare region.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The DFR Feteasca Alba is produced using temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its aromatic qualities. Gentle pressing is employed to maintain freshness and fruitiness. The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, considering the early-ripening nature of the Feteasca Alba variety. The winery, Domeniile Franco-Romane SRL (DFR), is committed to ecological and organic farming practices, being the first company in Romania to receive Ecocert certification. Wines may undergo short-term aging in large wooden or glass barrels.
