The estate, a union of two historic Alsatian wine families, has been practicing biodynamic viticulture since 1998. Some grapes for this wine are sourced from declassified Grand Cru vineyards, contributing to its distinctive character. The estate's philosophy centers on producing 'Natural Wines, Fine Wines'.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Dirler-Cadé Alsace Riesling 2022 is produced from hand-picked grapes, whole bunch pressed 'à l'Alsacienne'. Fermentation is carried out using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks and old oak foudres. Following fermentation, the wine undergoes a 10-month aging period on lees in tanks. The estate practices certified organic and biodynamic viticulture, including soil ploughing, natural crop covers, and the use of herbal teas and biodynamic preparations.
