ABOUT THIS WINE
The Renato Corino Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 is produced by Azienda Agricola Renato Corino, a family-run winery established in 2005 in Piedmont, Italy. The wine originates from a 1-hectare Dolcetto vineyard in La Morra, situated at 350-400 meters altitude with a southeast exposure and calcareous-clay soil. The vineyard features vines averaging 30 years old, cultivated using the Guyot system with a yield of 60 quintals per hectare. The winery's approach emphasizes integrated viticulture with minimal synthetic product use, and a gentle winemaking process. The estate continues a family legacy in winemaking, with Renato Corino managing the operations alongside his children.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Renato Corino Dolcetto d'Alba 2022 undergoes fermentation in stainless steel tanks with temperature control for about a week, followed by malolactic fermentation, also in steel. The wine is then aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks before bottle aging. Harvest is conducted manually in the second or third week of September. The winery practices integrated viticulture, utilizing only copper and sulfur, and managing vineyard floor cover by allowing grass to grow and then tilling it into the soil. This approach avoids herbicides and fertilizers.
