ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine des Malandes Chablis is a dry white wine from the Burgundy region of France, made from 100% Chardonnay. The estate, founded by Lyne Marchive and now managed by her children, is dedicated to expressing the distinct terroir of Chablis. The vineyards are situated on Kimmeridgian limestone soils, contributing to the wine's character. The 2022 vintage benefited from warm, dry conditions that supported ripe fruit while maintaining high acidity. The estate began its conversion to organic farming with the 2022 vintage.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Domaine des Malandes Chablis is produced from 100% Chardonnay. Fermentation occurs at low temperatures (around 18°C) in stainless steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged for approximately 12 months, predominantly in stainless steel vats, to maintain freshness and fruit character. The estate has been converting to organic farming practices, including respecting the environment, ploughing vineyards, and integrated pest management, starting with the 2022 vintage.
