Domaine Grande Bastide is located in the picturesque village of Tourrettes, within the high-altitude plains of the Var department in Provence. Since 2001, the estate has undergone a significant renaissance under Swedish ownership, which brought modern winemaking facilities and prestigious expertise, including guidance from the legendary Swedish winemaker Lars Torstensson. Today, the domain is directed by Fabien Bennegent, who has managed the viticulture and winemaking since the modernization began. The estate's unique terroir features clay-limestone soils and benefits from cooling Mediterranean winds, which slow down the ripening process to preserve natural acidity and freshness in the grapes.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for the Cuvée Othello Rosé is designed to maximize freshness and delicate fruit expression. The Grenache and Syrah grapes are harvested at optimal maturity and undergo a short, temperature-controlled skin-contact maceration to achieve the signature pale salmon-pink color and extract subtle phenolic structures. Fermentation takes place entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the primary fruit aromas. The wine is aged in neutral tanks and bottled young without any oak contact, ensuring a vibrant, clean, and fruit-forward profile.
