ABOUT THIS WINE
Domaine Peter Sichel, IGP Cucugnan, Blanc 2021 is a distinctive white wine from the remote Cucugnan valley in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Produced by Domaine Peter Sichel, the wine is made exclusively from 100% Roussanne grapes grown on old vines at high altitudes (350-500 meters) in stony soils. The estate, founded by Peter Allan Sichel and now managed by his grandson Alexander, is committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture. The 2021 vintage reflects the unique mountain terroir, with winemaking that includes fermentation with indigenous yeasts, partly in terracotta amphorae and oak barrels. Production is limited to 2,000 bottles.
