WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Domaine Wardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 is produced from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in Deir El Ahmar, within the Beqaa Valley. The vineyards are situated at high altitudes on slopes with limestone and gravel soil. Harvest for the 2018 vintage took place on September 24th and October 8th, with yields of 27 HL/ha. Vinification involved fermentation in stainless steel tanks and concrete vats, with fermentation temperatures not exceeding 22°C for 12 days. The wine was subsequently aged in French oak barrels for 13 months. Domaine Wardy is increasingly committed to organic farming practices and utilizes solar energy and lightweight bottles as part of its sustainability efforts. The winery is also engaged in a significant rebranding and renovation project.
