ABOUT THIS WINE
Dritto is a pure expression of Bardolino Classico produced by Tenuta La Cà, an estate revitalized by brothers Pietro and Aldo Giambenini. In 2018, they left careers in design and finance in Milan and London to return to their family's land on the morainic hills of Calmasino, near Lake Garda. The name 'Dritto' translates to 'straight' or 'direct,' reflecting their philosophy of producing a wine with no compromises, no deviations, and no artifice, staying entirely faithful to the unique lakeside terroir.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are grown using certified organic farming methods that follow the natural rhythms of the lunar calendar. Harvesting is done entirely by hand in late September. In the cellar, a gravity-flow system is used to avoid pumping. Grapes are left uncrushed and only partially destemmed to preserve fruit integrity and build a delicate, natural tannic structure. Spontaneous fermentation occurs in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel on its fine lees to maintain varietal purity without any oak influence.
