WINE MAKING PROCESS
El Helechal 2019 is produced using 100% Rufete Blanco grapes from vines approximately 40 years old, grown on steep, slate-rich slopes. The winemaking process includes about a week of skin maceration, followed by natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine then undergoes aging for 10 months in used 300-liter French oak barrels. Viñas Serranas employs organic and biodynamic farming practices, reflecting a philosophy of minimal intervention to express the regional terroir.
