ABOUT THIS WINE
Bodegas El Paraguas was founded in 2011 by Marcial Pita and Felicísimo Pereira in the Ribeiro DO of Galicia, Spain. The project focuses on recovering the historical prestige of Ribeiro wines, utilizing indigenous varieties grown in the Avia Valley. The vineyards are characterized by granitic soils and a strong Atlantic influence, which shapes the fresh, mineral character of their wines.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The wine is a blend of Treixadura, Godello, and Albariño. The Treixadura and Albariño components are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve fresh primary fruit. The Godello component is fermented in 500-liter French oak barrels and aged on its fine lees with regular battonage to add texture, structure, and complexity before final blending.
