ABOUT THIS WINE
Léna Perdu and Alexis Robin spent a decade working in the Parisian cinema industry before following their passion for viticulture to Southern Ardèche in 2019. Mentored by iconic local natural winemakers like Gérald Oustric and Gilles Azzoni, they established Les Bois Perdus as a low-intervention project dedicated to pure, additive-free wines. The name 'Elle Danse' (She Dances) evokes the light, rhythmic, and energetic nature of this natural rosé. The 2025 vintage tells a story of brilliant adaptation: when a punishing August heatwave threatened the acidity of the Merlot grapes, the winemakers completely reimagined the blend, shifting the base to white Grenache Blanc to preserve the wine's signature dance-like energy and light-footed elegance.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Crafted with a low-intervention philosophy, the grapes are entirely hand-harvested from organic and biodynamically farmed plots. The winemaking process begins with an exceptionally slow, direct pressing of the grapes over 48 hours to extract a delicate, pale color and soft textures. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts to protect the purity of the fruit. To maintain maximum freshness and avoid any wood influence, the wine is aged entirely in stainless steel. It is bottled unfined and unfiltered with zero added sulfites, keeping the total SO2 under 10 mg/L to deliver a living, energetic expression of the terroir.
