ABOUT THIS WINE
Embrasse-Moi is a natural red wine produced by Les Bois Perdus, an artisanal estate in the Ardèche region of France. Founded by Alexis Robin and Léna Perdu, who left their careers in the Paris film industry in 2019, the estate focuses on low-intervention, biodynamic viticulture. Located in the rugged landscape of Aubignas, the couple was mentored by legendary local natural winemakers like Gérald Oustric and Gilles Azzoni. This cuvée is sourced from a single parcel of old Grenache Noir vines in Orgnac-l'Aven, cultivated by the Demarquet family. The 2025 vintage represents a departure from the typical light, early-release style of previous years, offering a more structured and concentrated expression due to a particularly warm and dry growing season.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Embrasse-Moi is strictly non-interventionist, adhering to 'zero-zero' natural wine principles. The hand-harvested Grenache Noir grapes undergo a one-week maceration using 100% whole bunches, utilizing a semi-carbonic style. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with native, wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The grapes are pressed using an extremely slow, traditional wooden ratchet press over 24 to 48 hours to gently extract elegant textures without harsh tannins. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel to preserve its fresh fruit character, with no oak contact. It is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and with zero added sulfites.
