ABOUT THIS WINE
Emma Reichart Rosé Pinot Noir is a cool-climate German rosé crafted in honor of the Reichart family's matriarch, Emma. Produced by the Moselland eG Winzergenossenschaft cooperative for Schäfer-Reichart Selections, this wine is sourced from the Rheinhessen region of Germany. While Germany is historically famous for its white wines, its winemakers have quietly established a reputation for producing world-class, elegant Pinot Noir (locally known as Spätburgunder). This bottling has gained a dedicated following in the United States as an exclusive import, celebrated for offering authentic European varietal character and exceptional value.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
This rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from multiple small, independent growers in southwestern Germany. The grapes are grown in cool-climate vineyards, allowing for a slow ripening process that preserves natural acidity. Upon harvest, the grapes undergo a gentle pressing with minimal skin contact to extract a delicate, pale pink color. Fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the fresh, primary fruit esters. The wine is aged entirely in stainless steel to maintain its crisp, clean profile, avoiding any oak contact before being bottled under a screw cap closure.
