WINE MAKING PROCESS
The 2018 Falletto Barolo DOCG was produced from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested on October 10th. The winemaking process involved a 25-day fermentation and maceration period in stainless steel vats, followed by complete malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged for 30 months in large French oak casks (botti) and finished with 6 months of bottle aging prior to release. This traditional approach emphasizes the purity of the fruit and the expression of the Falletto vineyard's unique characteristics.
