ABOUT THIS WINE
Fidencio Blanco is crafted by Virgen de las Viñas, one of the largest and most prestigious wine cooperatives in Europe, located in Tomelloso, within Spain's historic La Mancha region. Established in 1961, the cooperative has modernized its facilities to produce clean, expressive, and highly accessible wines. This blend combines the traditional local Airén grape, known for its resilience and subtle fruitiness, with Sauvignon Blanc, which introduces vibrant aromatic lift and crispness. It represents a contemporary approach to daily-drinking Spanish white wines, focusing on freshness and regional typicity.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, often during the cooler night temperatures to preserve primary fruit aromas. Upon arrival at the state-of-the-art cooperative cellar, the grapes undergo gentle pneumatic pressing. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures (14-16°C) to maximize the extraction of fresh esters and varietal aromatics. The wine is kept on its fine lees for a short period before being clarified, cold-stabilized, and bottled early to retain its youthful, vibrant character.
