WINE MAKING PROCESS
Achaval-Ferrer Finca Altamira 2018 is produced from 100% Malbec grapes. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in cement tanks, with temperatures reaching up to 34-35°C and employing extensive pump-overs for extraction. Following fermentation, the wine is pressed and then aged for 14-15 months in 100% new French oak barrels. The winemaking process involves no filtering, cold soaks, acid correction, bleed-offs, or added enzymes, reflecting a low-intervention approach.
