ABOUT THIS WINE
The Finca Biniagual Mantonegro 2019 is a red wine from the Binissalem-Mallorca DOP on the island of Mallorca, Spain. Produced by Finca Biniagual, a family-run winery committed to sustainable and organic practices, this wine is a 100% Mantonegro, the island's indigenous flagship red grape. The winery has focused on mastering this challenging variety to create a wine that authentically represents Mallorca. The grapes for this vintage were hand-harvested from the 'Ca'n Cotorra' vineyard, located 140 meters above sea level, on soil rich in limestone and clay.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Finca Biniagual Mantonegro 2019 begins with hand-harvested grapes that undergo a second selection in the cellar. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur separately in various formats, including stainless steel tanks, wooden tanks, and 500-liter barrels. For this vintage, alcoholic fermentation lasted 10 days in stainless steel. The wine is then aged for 7 months in a 3,000-liter Foudre and 500-liter barrels, both of French oak. Finca Biniagual employs sustainable and organic viticulture methods.
