WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Finca La Garriga involves a 24-day maceration with skins, during which pump-overs are performed twice daily to enhance extraction. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 16 months in new American oak barrels. It then undergoes further aging in the bottle before release. The 2020 vintage harvest took place from August 16th to October 1st, under dry and hot summer conditions that led to a reduced yield.
