ABOUT THIS WINE
Sandeman Fine White Port is a non-vintage fortified wine from Portugal's Douro region, produced by Sandeman, a winery established in 1790. The producer, Sandeman, is recognized for its historical pioneering spirit in the wine industry, including early branding and advertising efforts. The wine's unique character is shaped by its origin in the Douro Valley, a region renowned for its viticultural heritage.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Sandeman Fine White Port is produced using the traditional Port wine method. Hand-picked grapes are destemmed and crushed, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures with skin maceration. Fortification with grape alcohol is introduced at an optimal point to balance the wine's structure and aroma. The resulting wines are aged in oak barrels for 2 to 5 years, averaging around 3 years, before being filtered and cold-stabilized for bottling.
