WINE MAKING PROCESS
Flor de Vetus is produced from estate vineyards planted in 1990. The grapes are hand-harvested in 15-kilo boxes and then undergo partial destemming and crushing. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks. Following fermentation, the wine is aged for 9 months in a mix of 50% French and 50% American oak barrels, including both new and second-use barrels. The farming practices employed are certified organic, reflecting a commitment to environmental respect.
