WINE MAKING PROCESS
Bersi Serlini Franciacorta Satén is produced using the Classic Method, involving secondary fermentation in the bottle. The grapes are fermented, and then the wine undergoes a significant period of aging on lees for at least 23 months. This aging process, conducted in underground cellars, is key to developing the wine's texture and complexity. Manual riddling is employed to gradually move the lees to the neck of the bottle before disgorgement. The Satèn style specifically requires a lower pressure, less than 5 atmospheres, contributing to its characteristic delicate effervescence.
