ABOUT THIS WINE
Gargalou translates to 'vin de copains' (friends' wine) in Occitan. This proprietary brand was created by the French retail network V and B in collaboration with Domaine de Perréou to challenge traditional, heavy sweet wines. Domaine de Perréou was founded in 1998 in Cazeneuve, Gers, by Mr. Petit and Mr. Labatut. Today, the estate is managed by Jean-Pierre Montelieu, a former professional rugby player, blending athletic camaraderie with Gascon warmth. This limited 'Sleeve' edition features a festive, holiday-themed design, making it a popular centerpiece for winter celebrations.

WINE MAKING PROCESS
Crafted from 100% Gros Manseng grapes grown on the clay-sand soils of Domaine de Perréou in Gascony. The grapes undergo passerillage (drying on the vine) to naturally concentrate sugars and flavors before harvest. Fermentation is conducted under strict temperature control in stainless steel tanks to preserve the grape's vibrant primary fruit aromas and high natural acidity. The wine is aged briefly in stainless steel vats without any oak contact to maintain maximum freshness and purity.
