WINE MAKING PROCESS
The winemaking process for Garzón Reserva Tannat begins with hand-harvested grapes. Fermentation occurs in 150 HL concrete tanks over one week, with regular pump-overs. Following fermentation, the wine is aged on lees for 6-12 months in stainless steel tanks. It then spends time maturing in large, untoasted French oak casks (50 HL bottis). The winery itself is LEED-certified, reflecting a commitment to sustainable practices.
