WINE MAKING PROCESS
The Gérard Bertrand Cigalus Blanc is produced using grapes cultivated through biodynamic practices. The harvest is done by hand, followed by pneumatic pressing. Approximately 70% of the juice ferments in new oak barrels, while the remaining 30% is vinified in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is carried out, and the wine is aged for 7 to 8 months in French oak barrels, with regular lees stirring. This process aims to create a wine that reflects the vineyard's terroir and exhibits finesse and complexity.
